The cash prizes, valued at S$4,000 each, are designed to provide a welcome respite from home expenses.
The giveaway, which was announced on March 14, 2024, is part of PropertyGuru’s ongoing engagement with users on social media platforms. From now until March 31, 2024, users can participate by following PropertyGuru’s official TikTok account and commenting on the giveaway post. To enter, participants must share how they would spend the S$4,000 if their rent or mortgage were covered.
“Participants are encouraged to have fun and get creative with their answers. The five most creative entries will win the cash prize,” said PropertyGuru in a statement. The winners will be selected based on the originality of their responses, with the announcement of the five lucky recipients set for May 2024.
The contest is aligned with PropertyGuru’s latest Consumer Sentiment Study, which reveals that more than 90% of home seekers in Singapore are willing to allocate up to S$4,000 per month for rent. The giveaway is an effort by PropertyGuru to engage its audience while providing them with a much-needed financial relief for home-related expenses.
The real estate company has been using TikTok as a way to engage with younger audiences, and this campaign provides an innovative twist by focusing on user creativity rather than traditional marketing.
