War games exercise will test the country’s readiness for the emergence of a lethal “Omega” variant

Israel is set to conduct the world’s first national Covid-19 drill, aimed at testing the country’s preparedness for a new and potentially lethal variant of the virus. Israel has successfully overcome a fourth wave of Covid-19 and is nearing the end of the Delta variant’s impact.
