North Korean Troops Sent to Russia to Aid in Ukraine Conflict

Intelligence Agency Reports Deployment of Special Forces Amid Rising Tensions

South Korea’s National Intelligence Service confirmed that 1,500 North Korean troops have been sent to Russia to support its war in Ukraine. These soldiers, disguised in Russian military uniforms, are currently training in Vladivostok. North Korea’s involvement has raised global concerns, with some sources indicating up to 12,000 troops may be deployed. Despite denials from Russia, this marks a significant step in North Korea’s growing military partnership with Russia, which has been seeking support due to increasing casualties in the ongoing war.
