Expat Critiques Marche Restaurant for Serving Non-Swiss Dishes
A Singapore-based Swiss content creator, Marion Müller, known as Swizzyinsg, voiced her disappointment with the Swiss restaurant Marche in a video posted on October 17. She expressed feeling “cheated” by the non-Swiss dishes offered, despite the restaurant’s Swiss branding.
In her 29-second video, she clarified that while the food tasted good, it did not align with traditional Swiss cuisine. “They said it’s a Swiss restaurant, but all these are not Swiss food,” she remarked, pointing out menu items such as Spanish paella, French crepes, and seafood pasta, which she felt were out of place in a Swiss establishment. Müller also called out the garlic chilli prawns on pizza, asserting that it was definitely not Swiss either.
Despite her criticism, she noted that the restaurant still had some redeeming qualities, though the menu’s authenticity remained a major concern for her.
